We are please to announce GPU has received a grant from the BTL Foundation.  This grant will support GPU’s “Back to School Assistance Program for children in relative care. This material will be ready to handout in mid August at your local support group meeting

                          Digital 900 AM

 Its now official GPU as of January 24, 2008 a new partnership and sponsor with Digital 900 AM and Media Coordinator Denise Nicudemus ! 

 "We are confident that together we can reach out to our Hispanic Radio listeners and provide much needed information and services about GPU Delaware."  They will be providing of schedule various interviews throughout the coming months and promote public service announcements for our future events or programs.   

  Junior League of Wilmington

Congratulations to the Junior League of Wilmington for their 90 years of improving our community and for their work with GrandParents United DE, Inc, New Castle Co. We appreciate their time and effort spent with our grandchildren.

                                        

                       Tatnall School

 Tatnall School has provide for the second year Christmas for grandparents and grandchildren. This year they sponsored 32 families statewide with money, clothes, books and toys for the children and caregivers alike. 

 

Allen’s Family Foods donated  oven stuffer which were needed and greatly appreciated.

 

Perdue donated  chickens  which were needed and greatly appreciated.  

Family Dollar Stores for assistance in back to school supplies.
